Wilma Irene Thibos, age 81 of Constantine, passed away Friday, August 5th, 2011 at Three Rivers Hospital Hospice . She was born in Three Rivers on June 12, 1930, a daughter of Russell and Margaret (Russell) Myers. On May 15, 1948, she married Robert Jay Thibos in Elkhart, he preceded her in death on July 16, 1991.
Wilma worked as a cabinet maker at Coachmen Industries in Centreville & Middlebury, IN for 34 years before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sewing, baby-sitting, camping & reading.
Surviving Wilma are her children Nancy (Patrick) Horton, Constantine, Donald (Cindy) Thibos, Centreville, Bob (Lorraine) Thibos, Shipshewana, Ginny (Joseph) Cotton, Sturgis, grandchildren Nichelle (Craig) Bilinski, Catina Horton, Amy (Christopher) Potter, Shasta (Chris) Gunsch, Joshua (Lori) Thibos, Erik Thibos, Shawn Cotton and Andrew Cotton, great grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, Nathan, Kyle, Kelsey, Bailey, Cammie, Xander, Kiylee, Dominik, Chloie, Xayden, and a sister Pauline Myers, Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her by parents, husband , son Lynn Thibos, brother Ernest Edward Myers, and sisters Marie Myers, Helen Myers, Lorraine Aber and grandson Chanley Thibos.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. Religious services will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Karla Kauffman of Three Rivers Hospital Hospice officiating.
