William B. Fisher, age 88 of  Constantine, went to be with his Savior and loved ones, on Friday, December 10th, 2010 at the Bowman House in Three Rivers. He was born in LaGrange Co., IN on January 26, 1922,  a son of  William Jennings and Ruth Irene (Bender) Fisher. Bill attended Sturgis Schools.  He served in the U.S. Navy in the Hospital Corps. during in WW II.  On February 1, 1942 he married Lois Mary Wolkins in Howe, IN. She preceded him in death July 18, 2002. Bill was employed as a welder at Pioneer Hybrid in Constantine for 10 years retiring in 1986. He previously worked for Selmer's in Elkhart, at various trailer factories, and for NIBCO Brass Foundry. Bill was a member of Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine, and also attended Porter Baptist, Three Rivers Bible , and Sturgis Wesleyan Churches.



Surviving are his daughters  Donna Jean(Don) Schrock of Constantine, Esther Marie (Graham) Print of Cambridge, New Zeland, Peggy Lois (Tony) Lafata of Estero, FL, son  Frederick Wayne (Mary Jean) Fisher of Atlanta, GA,  daughter-in-law Sally Fisher, of Homer, AK , 16 grandchildren,  19 great grandchildren (and2 more on-the-way), sister Sharon Pratt of Tehachapi, CA, brothers  Gerald  Fisher of Ft. Myers, FL, and Duane Fisher of Pasadena, MD.



He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Kenneth Dean Fisher, granddaughter, Dayna Lois Print, sisters, Jacquelyn Grob, Vivabelle Fisher, and brothers, Paul, Daniel & John Fisher.



Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday 12/15/10 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the Trinity Missionary Church, Constantine, with Reverend Terry Neumayer officiating. Interment will be in the Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, The Bowman House, or Trinity Missionary Church.
