Victor F. Feczko, 82 of Sturgis, passed away April 27, 2022 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. Victor was born in Chicago on November 26, 1939, to Frank and Genevieve (Czarnecki) Feczko. He graduated from Gordon Technical High School in Chicago in 1957. On April 8, 1967, he married the love of his life Linda Mitchell in Chicago.
Victor worked as a laborer for the City of Chicago Water Department for 38 years, retiring in 1998. Together, Victor and Linda moved to Lake Templene in 1999. He loved to go fishing and was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Centreville. He was the official organizer of the family summer relay races and 4th of July firework show, as well as the designer, engineer and builder of the backyard ice arena, pool and tire swing areas.
Surviving are his wife Linda Feczko of Sturgis, son Joseph (Melissa) Feczko of Bloomfield, daughter Susan Feczko of Chicago, grandchildren Billy and Gabbie Feczko, brother Ronald (Darlene) Feczko, sister Norma (Vito) Giusti, sister Arlene (James Thrower) Rumsavich, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, John David.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will take place on July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be given to the St. Clare Ladies Guild.
