Verna M Garrison, age 68 of Constantine, passed away in the early morning of Thursday, July 21, 2022. Verna was born March of 1954 in Bakersfield, CA to Joseph Luckett and Mary Dowdy. She married Stephen Smith in the summer of 1970 in San Bernardino, CA and had two children before separating years later. Verna is survivied by her two sons William Smith and Chris Smith; daughter-in-law's Kathy & Valerie; daughters Crystal Algea and Faith Murphy; son-in-laws Derek and Zayne; grandchildrem Stephen, Jazmine, Jade and Reanna plus 6 bonus grandchildren; niece Patricia; siblings Linda, Lortie, Walter & David Murphy and Mary K (Langdon) Murphy. Verna grew up in a military family and spent her childhood traveling. She settled down in California before relocating to Arizona where she spent most of her life before moving to Michigan to be with her daughter. Her family was her main priority. Even at a young age she would always there to care for her siblings. She was a wonderful kind soul and friend to so many. She loved and looked after everyone who crossed her path. Verna was always the light in the dark for so many people and will forever be missed by those who loved her. So bless it be.
