Thelma Elois (Weber) Fairchild, age 93,
of Three Rivers,
passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Bowman House in Three Rivers. She was born on August 29, 1922, a daughter of the late William and Florence (Lindsay) Weber. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1940 and attended Parsons Business School (Davenport) in Kalamazoo and also Glen Oaks Community College. On May 20, 1948, Thelma married James Fairchild in Centreville. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2010. Thelma was a member of the Florence Women's Club, Circle Four Charter, St. Joseph Farm Bureau, and was a 4-H leader for 20 years.
Surviving Thelma are her daughters Carla Jean (Will) McDonald of Bennettsville, SC and Louann (Lee) Bitely of Bitely, son Charles Fairchild of Sturgis, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and cousin Frederick Ott. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister Eula Martin.
