Ted R. Smith, age 67 of Constantine, died December 4, 2022 at his home following a long illness. He was born June 26, 1955 in North Judson, IN a son of Edward and Dallas (Stacey) Smith. Ted attended North Judson High School and served in the US Army. On January 30, 2009 He married Rebecca Bittner in Centreville. Ted was a life long truck driver, having driven for First Choice of Elkhart for 40 years, retiring in 2017. Ted was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his wife Rebecca Smith, Constantine, daughter Channin Sauer, Arizona, son Mick McMindes, Tennessee, step daughter Misty Campagna, Michigan, step son Adam Bradford, Michigan, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Alice of Kansas, Orlean of Indiana and brother Harm of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Teddy Smith and a sister.
