Tamara M. Kufeldt, age 73 of Constantine, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Beacon Kalamazoo. She was born September 3, 1952 in South Bend, a daughter of Richard and Bianca (East) Hebron. They moved to the family farm in Constantine in 1963, and graduated from Constantine Schools in 1970, where she met the love of her life, Gary Kufeldt. They were married on November 9, 1968 in Vistula, IN.  They lived in and around Constantine all of their life.

Tamara loved sewing, knitting and baking, especially for her grandkids. In her early years she loved camping at Lake Michigan.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years Gary Kufeldt; daughter Katharine (Ernie) Haydon; son Fred (Ashley) Kufeldt; grandchildren Amanda Harned, Cassandra (Tim Smith) Bowers, Hannah Haydon, Julia and Justin Kufeldt, Kaleb Connor's, Chloe frizzell ; great grandchildren Gwendalyn Barrett, Jake, Lucia, Braiden, and Kianna. Also surviving are her sister Sally (Ron) Schrock, Alaska; brothers Tom (Connie) Hebron, Edwardsburg and Tony Hebron, Cass. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date in the spring. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph County Animal Control, 652 E. Main St. Centreville, MI 49032.
