Susan E. Baldwin, age 65 of Constantine, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home. She was born August 28, 1957 in Sturgis, a daughter of Ronald and Helena (Clouse) Whitsel. Susan graduated from Sturgis High School in 1975. On September 3, 1982 she married Duane "Skip" Baldwin in Albany, GA. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2016. Susan was a homemaker, and had also worked as a cashier at D&S Grocery for more than 10 years. Susan liked doing Word Search and Happy Color apps on her I-Pad. She also enjoyed crochet and quilting. Surviving are her daughters Dara (Mike Hopwood) Baldwin; Helena Baldwin, son Joshua Baldwin, all of Constantine; daughter Nancy Jackson, Granger, IN; step-son Duane (Jennifer) Baldwin III, Constantine; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers Don (Deb) Whitsel, Three Rivers; Wayne (Pat) Whitsel, Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and half sister Sharon. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5-6 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at 6:00 PM. Celebrant Lucas King will officiate.
