Steven L. Pagels, age 60, of Centreville, died September 8, 2025, at his home following a lengthy illness.  Steven was born on November 2, 1964, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the son of Leslie "Gene" and Ella (Arnold) Pagels.  He was a 1984 graduate of Centreville High School.
Following high school, he was employed at Crocker Limited in Centreville, Denton Mills in Centreville, Leland Engineering in White Pigeon, and for the Nottawa Township cemeteries.
Steven is survived by his siblings Charles (Kari) Shie of Greenville, Michigan, LaDonna Pagels of White Pigeon, Michigan and Thomas Pagels of Centreville, Michigan.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews Sharon (Scott) Price of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Bill (Emily) Westra of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Leslie Shie of Greenville, Michigan, Charles (Melissa) Shie II of Crofton, Maryland, and Casey (Allen) Hustin of Itaca, Michigan, Michael Thomas Pagels.  He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tina Pagels.
Relatives and friends will be received Friday, September 12, 2025, at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville from 12-2pm with a religious service following at 2pm, officiated by Pastor Sandy Miller.
Burial will take place following funeral services at Nottawa Township Cemetery.
