Shirley Mae Kelly of Constantine, MI, entered into eternal glory on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 1, 1937 a daughter of Enoch and Geneva (Walker) Woulard, in Battle, MS. In 1947 she moved to Chicago, IL, where she later met Willie Hathorne, he preceded her in death on July 3, 2010, they had 9 children. She loved her family, enjoyed devoting her life to caring for them, and always ended a phone conversation with "I LOVE YOU". Shirley enjoyed gardening, animals, soap operas and she loved her beer.



Shirley is survived by 2 sons Arzell and Zell, 5 daughters Diane, Brenda, Glenise, Kimberly, Beverly, 1 daughter-in-law Tessie, 4 sons-in-law Joe, Willie, Alonzo, and herb Becton, 39 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, sister and best friend Margaret Hackney, sister Augusta, brothers Eddie, Sam, Larry, Albert, James, Johnnie, and a host of extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Willie Hathorne, Jr., Gene Kaufman, brother Jose Woulard.



Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Thursday from 4-6 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Constantine Cemetery.
