Shane Fredrick-Leo Rossman, 54, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Born on May 28, 1972, Shane was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Shane is survived by his loving parents, Douglas and Roxanne Rossman of Constantine, Michigan; his son, Dylan (Cassandra) Rossman of South Bend, Indiana; and his daughter, Dominique. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Leelyn Fredrick Leo, Willow Rayne, Easton Michael-Lee, and Madden Jay.
He is also survived by his brothers, Eric Rossman of Constantine, Michigan, and Douglas (Frankie Hanna) Rossman of Jacksonville, Florida, along with many nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his oldest grandson, Brayden Lee, whose memory remained a special part of his family’s story, as well as both sets of grandparents - Steven and Freda Gubanche and Fredrick and Bessy Rossman.
A true metalhead at heart, Shane had a passion for heavy metal music and loved nothing more than turning up the volume and rocking out to his favorite bands. Whether he was attending concerts, sharing music, or spending nights surrounded by friends and family, music was a huge part of who he was. Those nights filled with loud guitars, unforgettable songs, laughter, and good company will forever be treasured by those who shared them with him.
Shane’s love for music was more than just a hobby; it was a part of his spirit. He lived with a soundtrack of heavy riffs and powerful lyrics, creating memories that will continue to play on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Though Shane’s time here has come to an end, the memories he leaves behind will never fade. His family and friends will remember him every time a favorite song comes on, the guitars get a little louder, and the music brings everyone together.
Rock on, Shane. Until we meet again, may the music never stop.
Please join us for a celebration of life honoring Shane on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Harvey House, 125 W. Water St., Constantine, Michigan.
