Shandi Marie Kern, age 15, of Constantine, passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born on August 4, 1995 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of  Rondell Scott and Gayle (Neal) Kern.  Shandi attended Pathfinder Center in Centreville.  Shandi is survivied by her mother Gayle Kern and step-father Ken Sawyer, Constantine, father Rondell Scott Kern, Logansport, IN,  sisters Tina Harper, Teresa Gray, Lynn Rodgers, brothers Gabriel Sawyer, Keith Hochstetler, Thomas Sawyer, Richard Lucas, Kenneth Sawyer, and grandparents Rondell (Irene) Kern and Larry Lane. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bob Neal, Mary Neal, Ruth Lane, Nancy Neal, aunts Rebecca Menssa, Mary Sue Neal, and brother Ranell Kern.  Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Sat., March 5, 23011 from 10-11 am at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine, where Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Reverend Dennis Smith will officiate.
