Ruth Marion (Struven) Stump, age 95, of Three Rivers, MI, passed away Wednesday, July 01, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. Ruth was born on April 12, 1920 in Riverdale, IL to Bernhard and Frieda (Abraham) Struven. In 1938, she graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, IL. On April 19, 1941 she married Edward Lorenz Stump in Dolton, IL. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1985. She was a seamstress for most of her life, and also worked as a sewing instructor at Sears and Roebuck. She enjoyed reading and knitting.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Janet (Charles) Mueller of Three Rivers, granddaughter Theresa Middleton of Three Rivers, grandson Charles E. Mueller of Three Rivers, and great-grandsons Steven and Brandon Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Edward Stump, sister Violet Novotny, and brother Bernard Struven.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Eley Funeral Homes, Constantine.
