Ruth H. Preston, age 90 of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. Ruth was born in Constantine on January 12, 1922,  a daughter of  Sherman and Nellie (Sawyer) Church.  She was the widow of Harold Lee Preston Sr.



Surviving are her daughters Suzanna (Donald) Echola, Kathy (Jerry) Bergakker, Diana (Matt) Bergakker, Louise Lawson, and Caralene Skelton, sons  LeRoy (Peggy) Preston, Marvin Noel, Gordon (Ruth) Preston,  6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Preston Sr., son Harold Preston Jr. and daughter Vickie Noel, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.



Relatives and friends will be received Saturday from 11 am to 1 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will follow at 1 p.m.. Reverend Scott Manning of the Constantine United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
