Ronald R. Droke, age 70, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, April 16th, 2009 at the Three Rivers Health Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, IN on April 23, 1938, one of nine children born to Chester and Carrie (Knight) Droke. On November 13, 1998 Ron married Carol (Barfell) Smith in Centreville. He worked at Peterson Springs in Three Rivers for 39 years, retiring in 2001.

Surviving Ron are his wife, Carol Droke, Three Rivers, daughter Cindy Sigman, Three Rivers, sons Ronald "Rusty" Droke, Lakeland, FL, Michael Droke, Three Rivers, step-daughters Tawnie Varnell, Battle Creek, Heidi Sova, Grand Rapids, step-son Dayton (Tara Scott) Smith , Three Rivers, sister Mary Billett, Elkhart, IN, 4 granddaughters, 9 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Interment of ashes will be at Poes Cemetery in Newberg Township.
