Robert H. Nelson, age 95 of Three Rivers, MI, passed away Friday, November 21st, at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 19, 1913, the son of Robert H. and Edna May (Doty) Nelson . Robert attended White Pigeon Schools. On May 22, 1937 he married Iona Criswell in Howe, IN. She preceded him in death May 25, 2000. He was employed at the Weyerhaeuser Paper Co. Three Rivers, for 32 years retiring in 1977. Robert and Iona spent many years selling crafts at the local shows and fairs. Surviving are his daughter Pearl Ann Copsey of Three Rivers, grandchildren Doreen Moon, Shipshewana, Michael Copsey, Three Rivers, Debra Herrick, Richland, MI, Patrick Andrew Nelson, Portage, MI and Jennifer Leigh Schrebe, Tennessee, 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son Robert L. Nelson. Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 6-8 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Services are private at the convenience of family. Interment will be in the Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Co. C.O.A.
