Robert L. Mallo, age 78 of Constantine, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Three Rivers Health Hospital. He was born in Constantine on February 11, 1936, a son of Howard and Mildred (Eby) Mallo. Bob graduated from Constantine High School in 1954. On October 10, 1959 he married Julia Butler at Porter Baptist Church in Constantine. He served in the U.S. Army as a SP3(T) from 1954 to 1956. Bob loved farming and International tractors, working the family farm in Constantine until he retired in 1998. He was a member of Porter Baptist Church and Gideon's International.

Surviving Bob are his wife Julia Mallo, Constantine; daughter, Christina (Roy) Bell, Orland, IN;

sons Randy (Sheila) Mallo, WiImington, NC; Aaron (Dawn) Mallo, Jones; grandchildren Bryce Mallo, Mckenzie Mallo, Bryanna Mallo, Jaron Mallo, Collin Musser, Roshelle Bell, Allyson Bell, sister, Marcia (Keith) Avery, Elkhart; brother, Mike Mallo, Constantine; sisters in law Marion Mallo and Sue Mallo, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Carol, Larry and Ronald.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held 11 am Friday at Porter Baptist Church, Constantine, with Pastor Randy Peterson officiating. Interment will be at Shavehead Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
