Robert John (Bobby) Hawkins, 65, of Centreville, MI, formerly of Constantine, passed away Friday, July 17th, at Ascension Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo. Robert was born in Sturgis on December 13, 1954, a son of Junior and Marjorie (Westphal) Hawkins.

Robert was a graduate of the Adapt Day Program. He enjoyed fire trucks, school buses, and carousels, especially riding the carousel at the fair. He loved Christmas, getting presents, and playing Christmas music on his record player. He will always be remembered for swinging by the side of the road outside his home in Constantine, waving at the trucks and cars as they passed by.

Surviving Robert are his sister Marjorie Hayes, Three Rivers, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronnie Hawkins.

Visitation will be held at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Attendance inside is limited to 10 people at a time. Masks are required. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Peek Cemetery with Pastor Don Smith, Firm Foundation Ministries officiating.
