Robert H. Glide, age 80 of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at the Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Centreville. He was born in Warren, Mi on December 16, 1930,  a son of Robert C. and Margaret (Pearson) Glide. On August 24, 1962 Bob married June Thackery in Detroit. He was Owner/Operator of Poor Peddler Saloon in Three Rivers from 1978 to 1983. Bob served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Centreville.Surviving are his wife June, daughter  Brandon (Richard) Blow of Walled Lake, sons  David Glide of Detroit, Robert Glide of Dearborn, Michael (Barb) Glide of Three Rivers, Eric Glide of Grand Rapids, grandchildren David Glide, April Steinman, Jeff Glide, Caitlyn Blow, great grandchildren Reyna & Faust. He was preceded in death by his parents.Cremataion has taken place and there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
