Richard "Dick" "Sonny"  George Kopp, age 63 of Ft. Wayne, IN, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Centreville on November 24, 1948 to George and Irene (Jablinski) Kopp. Dick honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969. He retired from Sturgis Iron & Metal after 18 years, and had previously worked at Sturgis Foundry for 13 years. Dick enjoyed playing cards with Betty??s brothers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife Audrey Jean (Keller) Kopp, and his second wife Betty Devilin. Surviving Dick are his sons Chris (Pam) Kopp, Elkhart, Jeff (Lisa) Kopp, Ft. Wayne, grandchildren Jeffrey Kopp II, Cassie Gibson, both of Ft. Wayne, Bobby Kopp, Christopher Kopp, Elkhart, great granddaughter Caszandra Gibson, sisters Diane (Lonny) Johnson, Patricia Byers, both of Kalamazoo, nieces Vicki, Donna, Velma, Lori, Linda, and Amy. Also surviving are his stepsons Jack, David, Daniel & Darren Devilin.  Dick will be missed by his family and close friends Joe Longo of Walton, NY and Arthur & Faith Shears of Centreville.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place and the family will hold services at a later date.
