Randy W. Caruthers, 49 of Sturgis, passed away May 4, 2021 after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident. Randy was born in Three Rivers on April 1, 1972, a son of Herschel and Frances (Hodge) Caruthers. Randy attended Constantine and Dowagiac Schools and previously worked for Barletta Boats in Bristol. He enjoyed gardening, collecting old things, antiquing, and especially enjoyed cookouts and BBQ.

Surviving Randy are his children Dustin Matthew Douglas Smith of Three Rivers and Raelin Smith of Sturgis, mother Frances Caruthers of Sturgis, father Herschel Caruthers of Corpus Christi, TX, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sherri Ruth Caruthers.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday May 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM, at 93321 Cedar Lake Ave.; Marcellus, MI. Memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society.
