Phyllis R. Seekman, age 84 of Constantine, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born September 9, 1940 in Three Rivers, a daughter of Arthur and Lena (Wagner) Wagner. Phyllis graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1958. On August 28, 1959 she married Jack A. Seekman in Three Rivers. He preceded her in death June 3, 2002.

After high school she worked at Michigan Gas and Electric, spent several years as an at home mom, then went in the workforce at Lettinga Accounting, she retired in 2008 from Michiana Agra Feed Mill after several years of service.  In earlier years she attended St Peters Lutheran Church where she volunteered for vacation bible school.  After retirement she volunteered at Three Rivers Food Site and Community Kitchen.

Surviving are her daughters June Scott and Patricia (Douglas) Dentler both of Three Rivers; Grandchildren Timothy (Elizabeth Robinson) Scott II, Seth (Abigail Hassenger) Scott and his children Benjamin and Sierra, Nick (Jessica) Brady and their children Layla and Kenneth Paul, Danielle (Justin) Montgomery and their sons Chase and Brady, Darci (Derek) Ridge and their daughters, Audrey and Alyssa; sister Maxine Baumeister; brother  Doug Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepfather Earl Bowers; and siblings Cybella Rice, Hubert Wagner and Charles Wagner.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11am -1pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM.  Interment will be in Peek Cemetery, Constantine.  Memorial contributions may be directed to UCAP Food Site Three Rivers.
