Philip "Shorty" Clark, age 71of Centreville, MI, passed away Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at his home. He born in Three Rivers, MI on September 10, 1942, a son of William P. and Bernice (Parker) Clark. On June 21,1964 Shorty married Janet Brooks in Three Rivers. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2009. He worked as a materials handler at Kirsch Co. in Sturgis for over 30 years.

Surviving are his mother Bernice Clark, Centreville, grandson John P. Clark Jr., Centreville sister Carolyn (Ted) Eckert of Burr Oak. He was preceded in death by his father William, wife Janet, and son John Clark Sr.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 9 to 11 am at the Centreville United Methodist Church. Religious Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 10th, at the Methodist Church, with Pastor Randy Evans, New Beginning's Community Church, Sturgis, officiating. Interment will be at Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville.
