Penny Marie Brown, age 51, of White Pigeon, beloved mother, wife, sister & daughter, passed away Sunday, August 14th, 2011 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers on July 9, 1960, a daughter of James and Willamae "Toots" (Parker) Clark. Penny graduated from Centreville High School in 1978. On October 24, 1992 she married Kurt Allen Brown in Centreville. She worked at IKU (Eaton Corp.) Three Rivers for several years and loved to play Bingo and enjoyed cross stitch. Surviving are her parents Jim and Willamae "Toots" Clark, Centreville, husband Kurt Brown, White Pigeon, daughter Heather (Pablo) Velasco, Centreville, son Roger Bogema, Centreville, step son Duane (Anna) Double, Kalamazoo, grandson Antonio Duran, granddaughters Madison Double and Natalie Double, sister Julie Clark, Centreville, brother Dan (Sherrie) Clark, Sturgis, 2 nieces Tiffany Butz, Kalamazoo and Bridgette (John) Alley, Burr Oak, nephew Michael Clark, Sturgis,3 gt. nephews Braxton, Cole and Collyn Alley, Burr Oak and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bogema, son in law Juan Duran and several aunts, uncles and grandparents.Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Thursday at New Beginings Community Church, Sturgis, with Pastors Randy Evans and Ron Bell officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
