Pauline A. Hamberg, age 80, formerly of Jones, MI, passed away Friday, April 6th, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. She  was born in St. Joseph County on May 21, 1930 a daughter of Delbert and Opal (Plank) Whisler. Pauline was a waitress and cook retiring from the  Friendly Tavern. She also worked at the Harvey House, Rosies Steak House and the Hickory Inn.Surviving are her daughters  Vickie (Jim) Paananen of Constantine, Denise Abrams of Three Rivers, sons Randy Blankenship of Constantine, Kevin (Carolyn) Blankenship of Constantine, and Kim Hamberg of Mendon,  7 grandchildren,  13 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Donald Whisler and Paul Whisler and 2 sisters Lillian Danberry and Ruby Jean Logan.Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 5 - 7 pm  at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Religious Services will follow at 7:00 P.M. Reverend Terry Neumayer, Trinity Missionary Church, Constantine will officiate.Private Interment will be at Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Health Care in Three Rivers.
