Paul L. Burgener, age 84 of Constantine, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Birch Meadows AFC in Three Rivers. He was born September 22, 1937 in Constantine, a son of Lester and Vernie (Wittenberg) Burgener. Paul graduated from Constantine High School in 1955. He immediately went to work on the family farm which was established in 1906. Paul owned and operated the farm his entire life. On January 27, 1968 he married Jane A. Wagner at the Sturgis Methodist Church. Paul was a member of Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving Paul are his wife Jane Burgener, Constantine; daughter Patty (Craig) Sherwood, Vicksburg, grandson Bryce Sherwood, granddaughter Payton Sherwood; sister Norma Fair, Sturgis; brother Glenn (Darlene) Burgener, Constantine; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Evelyn Kilpatrick.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Derl Keefer officiating. A reception will immediately follow.
