Paul William Bolender, 88, of Centreville, MI, died January 06, 2016. Paul was born March 17, 1927 in Centreville, a son of John and Josephine (Hasbrouck) Bolender. He graduated from Centreville High School and served in the US Navy, Seabees from 1944 to 1946. On July 10, 1948 he married Betty Schrader in Angola, IN. She preceded him in death February 11, 2015. Paul was employed as a contractor for Bruecks and Bolender Co. and Paul Bolender Construction retiring in the 1970's. He was also a supervisor for St. Joseph Co. maintenance department. Paul was a member of Three Rivers Eagles, American Legion and lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Surviving are his son Rick and Lori Bolender, Centreville, grandchildren Lee (Sheila) Rohr, Christopher Rohr, Patrick (Dena) Rohr, Angel (Isaac) Newburry, Ashlee (Brian) Suitto, Jonathan Bolender, John (Melissa) Back, Cody (Stacie) Back, Sam (Heather) Campbell, Derek Campbell, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers Richard (Linda) Bolender, Raymond Bolender, sisters Jean Miller, Nancy (Bill) Wagner, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Tom Bolender, daughter and son in law Paulette and John Rohr, great granddaughter Angelia Newburry and sister Dorothy Stiver.
