Patrick Thomas Blair, age 60 of Union, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at his home. He was born March 12, 1965 in Gary, IN, a son of John and Rosemary (Reinerth) Blair. Patrick graduated from Hobart High School in 1983. He continued his education at Vincennes University, the first college in Indiana, where he obtained a degree in Horticulture in 1985. In 1996 Patrick married Karen (Samuels) Stiver at Klinger Lake Country Club in Sturgis. Patrick worked at Alpha Systems - Patrick Ind., where he was employee of the month for his outstanding service. He had previously worked in landscaping. Patrick was adopted by the Native American Group from Fremont, IN. Patrick enjoyed fishing, hunting, water sports and snow skiing.

Surviving Patrick are his mother, Rosemary (Reinerth) Blair; Karen Stiver-Blair; brother William (Kim) Blair; niece Violet Blair; sister Kathleen Blair (Steven) Parks; nieces Avery, Elizabeth and Marley Parks. Also surviving are his cousins Jack Emshwiller, Michael Emshwiller, Laurel Slagle, Melinda Baker, and loving friends Philip and Redy Stiver.

He was preceded in death by his father John R. Blair; aunt Virginia Blair Emshwiller, grandparents Evelyn and Allard Reinerth, and Eleanore and Edgar Blair.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice, or plant a tree in his honor.
