Olive Frye, age 59 Constantine, MI passed away Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at home. Olive was born in Hindman, Kentucky on April 6, 1950, a daughter of Miles P. and Gladys (Perkins) Blackburn. On January 29, 1988 she married Leon Frye in South Milford, Indiana. Olive was a member of Faith Finders Church in Constantine and took pride in cleaning the church. She enjoyed fishing and cherished children and her family. Surviving are her husband Leon Frye and son Christopher Leon Frye of Constantine, sisters Marie (Fred) Dawson, Cathy Taylor, Brenda (Hoss) Wicker, Alma Taylor, Shelia (James) Perkins, brothers Dingus (JoAnn) Blackburn, Michael Blackburn, David (Michelle) Blackburn, and Adam Blackburn, mother in law Elisabeth Frye. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Faye Adams and brothers Don Blackburn and Parker Blackburn Jr. Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 1 to 8 pm at the Faithfinders Church 229 W. 2nd St. Constantine where Religious Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, with Pastors John and Rita Austin officiating. Interment will be at the Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
