Nancy June Hawn, 82 of Constantine, passed away January 29, 2023 in Mishawaka. Nancy was born in Illinois, on December 2, 1940, a daughter of Virgil and June (Howard) Katt. She married Dean Vantine in 1960; he preceded her in death in 1969. On June 9, 1972, she married Carl Hawn. Nancy previously worked at CTS in Elkhart, Constantine Creamery, and Harder's Corporation in Middlebury. She most enjoyed being a homemaker, wife, and mother. Nancy loved to spend her time sewing, knitting, crocheting, doing crafts, and gardening. Surviving are her husband Carl Hawn of Constantine, son Tim (Kathy) Vantine of Constantine, daughter Kim (Mike) Barber of Constantine, son Kenneth Hawn of Constantine, daughter Kathy (Randy) Burns of Illinois; grandchildren Eric (Cherie) Vantine, Mark (Jen Dombrowski) Vantine, Whitney (Logan) Blentlinger, and Christopher Burns; great grandchildren Faith Blentlinger, Caiden Vantine, Beckham Vantine;, Aleister Burns, Ezekiel Burns and Rinoa Burns, Taylor Bays and Chloe Phillips, and several brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her father Virgil Katt, mother June Ledbetter, and first husband Dean Vantine. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will occur in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
