Matthew E. Lawless, 75 of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at South Bend Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1946 in Chicago, IL, a son of Thomas and Mary (Malley) Lawless. Matthew graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Chicago. Matthew loved to tinker and was a maker of all things.

He worked at Sears & Roebuck, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and Standard Charter Bank, all in Chicago. After moving to Three Rivers he worked for Crocker Ltd. and then retired from Wal-Mart in Three Rivers.

Surviving Matthew are his sister Mary (Lawrence) Rhyner, Arlington Hts., IL, nieces and nephews Kathleen Lawless, Lawrence Rhyner, Thomas (Nahshonee) Rhyner, Mary (Tony) Wulff, Christine (Steve) Botero, Margaret Rhyner, and Veronica Rhyner, and 10 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law Todd and Carol Lawless.
