Mary Jane McClain, age 77 of Yuma, AZ, (formerly of Constantine), passed away  Friday, July 16th, 2010 at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson, MO.  She was born in White Pigeon, MI on April 10, 1933,  a daughter of  William S.and Edna Mae (Simpson) McClain. Mary Jane graduated from Constantine High School in 1951 where she had been a cheerleader and band member. She worked as a lab tech at Miles & Whitehall Labs in Elkhart, IN and played on the company softball team. She also worked as an administrator at Alumiform, retiring in 1974.  In 1977 she moved to Yuma, AZ.  Mary Jane was a member of the United Church of God in Yuma.



Surviving are her sister Betty Mae Bontrager of White Pigeon, MI,  brothers William  "Bill"  (Fern) McClain of Constantine, MI,  Charles  (Betty) McClain of Constantine, MI, sisters-in law Mary McClain & Gladys McClain many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Kenneth, Dean & Clayton McClain, sister-in-law, Beverly McClain, and brother-in-law Neal Bontrager.



Relatives and friends will be received  Wednesday from 11-2 at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Randy Duke officiating.  Interment will be at Mottville Township Cemetery White Pigeon, MI.  Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Hospice, 10 Doctors Park, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
