Martin Montoya, 58 of Mendon, passed away July 24, 2024 in Three Rivers.  Martin was born on December 3, 1965 in Mexico, a son of Andres and Carmen Montoya.  Martin worked at Show Hauler in Middlebury for many years.  He truly loved working and going fishing.  He was also a huge fan of scratch off tickets, and would win something with every pick he made.

Surviving Martin are his mother Carmen Montoya; children Sonia Montoya, Vanessa (Luis) Montoya, Andres Montoya, Martin Montoya, Ruby (Jake) Mohney, Kevin Montoya, Jennifer Montoya, and Christian Montoya; grandchildren Delilah, Tyler, Adalynn, Haylee, Araceli, Cecelia, and Josephine; and siblings Josefina, Jose, Juana, Teresa, Isabel, Juan, Carmen, Trini, and Lucia.

He was preceded in death by his father Andres Montoya and brother Mauricio Montoya.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church; 140 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago, IL 60185. Interment of ashes will follow in St. Mary's Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be given to the family.
