Martha (Borkholder) Miller, age 88 years 7 months 21 days, of Centreville, MI, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 16, 1928 in Marshall County, IN to Jacob J and Lizzie Ann (Borkholder) Borkholder. On January 26, 1950, she married Ivan W. Miller of Centreville, MI.

Surviving with her husband of 66 years are 3 daughters, Laura (Oba) Borkholder, Mendon; Erma (Reuben) Bontrager, Lancaster, WI; Wilma, at home; 4 sons, Glen (Anna Lea) Miller, of Bloomington, WI; Amos (Polly) Miller, Centreville; Ira (Irene) Miller, Millersburg, OH and Levi Ray (Amelia) Miller, LaJara, CO; also 57 grandchildren and 160 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Katie Ann (Edward) Miller and Emma Borkholder-Moore, both of Centreville; 1 brother Daniel (Colleen) Borkholder; 2 brothers-in-law, John Miller of Centreville and Andy Miller of Cisne, IL. She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters Mary, Annie, Lovina, and Lizzie Mae, 1 brother Lloyd, 1 daughter Ella, 1 daughter-in-law Elizabeth, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends at her son, Amos Miller's home located at 27801 Marvin Road, Centreville, MI on Sunday, January 8 beginning at 1 pm, and all day on Monday, January 9. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10 at the CYC Community Building (Nottawa Road, Nottawa, MI) with Home Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery in Centreville. Assistance was provided by the Eley Funeral Home of Centreville.
