Marilyn J. Clark, age 83 of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, September 16th, 2011 at Three Rivers Health Hospital. She was born in Three Rivers August 9, 1928, a daughter of Arthur and Irene (Fox) Acker. On November 27, 1945 she married Edward C. Clark in Centreville. He preceded her in death June 20, 1991. Marilyn worked as a custodian at Centreville Schools for 13 years retiring in 1991. She also worked at Continental Can, Weyerhaeuser and Denton Mills. She enjoyed camping, reading, baking and playing the organ. Marilyn was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Centreville.Surviving are her daughters Cheryl (Marc) Schrader of Three Rivers, Pamela (Joseph) Hofmann of Sturgis, son William E. (Claudia) Clark of Greensboro, NC, grandchildren Lisa (Doug) Shears, Kyle Shea, Jennifer (CJ) Grudzinskas, Allison (Gregg) Paitt, great grandchildren, Brittany Nichols, Jacke Shears, William Paitt and Gregg Paitt, sisters Betty Garrison of Centreville, Joann Walworth of Centreville and her special friend Eugene Schull of Three Rivers. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, brother Robert Acker, brother in law Robert Garrison and nephew Bob Garrison. Relatives and friends will be received Sunday from 2 - 5 PM at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville where Religious Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 19th, with Pastor David Grimm officiating. Interment will be in the Nottawa Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
