Louise E. LoRusso
September 22, 1934 - - - May 8, 2008
Louise E. LoRusso, age 73, of Bronson, passed away Thursday, May 8th, 2008 at Community Health Center, Coldwater, MI. She was born in Logansport, IN on September 22, 1934, a daughter of Lester and Vesta Fern (Sparks) Hurlburt. In November 1953 she married Alfred E. DeVeaux in Logansport, IN. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2007. Louise was employed in the dry cleaning business, working for Maytag Laundry and Snyders Laundry in Coldwater and Personalized Laundry, New Canaan, CT. She enjoyed playing bingo, the Lottery and going to garage sales.
Surviving Louise are her daughters Diana Socci, Bronson, Marissa (Charles) Green, Centreville, Donna (Don) Simmons, NY, son Michael (Sharon) DeVeaux, NC, 6 grandchildren Ceairra Green, Ceatin Green, Christina DeVeaux, Michael DeVeaux, Jr., Amanda Jones and Bernard Jones, 2 great grandsons, Javier Beetie and Landon Schwemer, 3 sisters Beverly Miller, Bloomfield, IA, Shirley Rogers, Amboy, IN, Linda Lindley, Flora, IN and a brother Floyd Hurlburt, Coldwater. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Wayne Socci and brother Robert Hurlburt.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday from 6-7 p.m. at the New Beginnings Community Church on M66 in Sturgis, where Religious Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Evans officiating. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center. Arrangements are being handled by Eley Funeral Homes in Centreville.
