Lon E. Johansen, age 71 of Constantine, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Kairos Dwelling Home in Kalamazoo.  He was born in Three Rivers on September 5, 1952, a son of Arthur and Alice (Stahly) Johansen. Lon graduated from Constantine High School in 1970 and later obtained an Associates Degree in Business from Ferris State  University.

Lon began working at Red Shed Auto Body in White Pigeon. He later was employed by NASCAR in promotions and hospitality, and with Dick Trickle Racing.  He finally worked for Michigan Scrapping. Lon loved cars, racing and football.

Surviving Lon are his wife Suzanne Johansen, Constantine; sons Clifton (Jenny) Johansen, Constantine, Brian (Rachel) Johansen, LaGrange, Jeffrey (Stacy) Johansen, Clover, SC; grandchildren Ethan Johansen, Devin Johansen, Zaine Johansen, Dane Johanson, Cyrah Bright, Blake Bright, Desiree Cravea, Annalise Johansen, Elaina Johansen; great grandchildren Myles, Ezekial and Harper; sister Jodi Johansen, Constantine; sister-in-law Mary Johansen, Sturgis; niece Alicia Johansen and nephew Josh Johansen.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kurt Johansen.
