Linda J. Kemp, age 75 of Sturgis, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2025 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.  She was born May 26, 1950 in Grand Rapids, a daughter of Eric and Eileen (Manny) Mostrom. Linda graduated from Centreville High School in 1968. On September 4, 1971 she married Simon Kemp at Fish Lake Bible Church.

After working at several factories, Linda retired from Yoder Department Store in Shipshewana where she worked in the fabric department. Linda enjoyed quilting and sewing for her family and friends.  She was a member of Fish Lake Bible Church.

Surviving are her husband Simon Kemp; sons Keith Kemp and Neil Kemp; daughter Karen (Wesley) Shultz; grandchildren Brandon & Conner, all of Sturgis; brothers Wayne (Lila) Mostrom and Ray (Linda) Mostrom; and several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday, Sept. 4th, from 6-8 PM at Fish Lake Bible Church, and also Friday from 10-11 AM.  Religious services will be Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Timothy Brondyke officiating. A luncheon will follow services.  Private family interment will take place at Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to FLBC Youth Camp Fund.
