Leland H. "Lee" Wickey Age 74 of Centreville, died April 15, 2023 at his home. He was born March 21, 1949 in Goshen, IN a son of Henry and Suzanne( Hostetler) Wickey. Lee attended school in the LaGrange, IN area. On May 19, 1972 he married Deborah Anne Elliott at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis. She preceded him in death February 7, 2010.

Lee worked as a carpenter for Henry Wickey Construction and also in maintenance at Fairview Nursing Home.

He raised Mules and could be seen around the area in many parades and shows. Lee also enjoyed playing the guitar and traveling the back roads of our county.

Surviving are his daughter Lisa (Jim) Sutton, Sturgis, son Joe (Amy) Wickey, Centreville, grandchildren Allyson, Hank, Jacob and Carter, sisters Esther (Mark) Richmond, Lori (Trell) Meade, Martha (James) Mullins, brothers Wilbur (Cindy) Wickey, Marvin Wickey and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Deborah and brother Allen Wickey.

Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious services will be held 1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Nottawa Township Cemetery.
