Larry Michael Sweet, age 45 of Constantine passed away Monday, July 20th, 2009 following a water sport accident. He was born in Battle Creek on May 18, 1964, a son of Jerry and Sandra (Burke) Sweet. Larry graduated from Centreville High School in 1982. On May 4, 1985 he married Dawn Wahl in Three Rivers. They were later divorced. Larry retired as a machine operator at Dock Foundry and previously worked at Huddleston Lumber. He enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, boating and riding wave runners. Larry also loved to travel, spend time with his friends and family and was an avid U of M sports fan. Surviving are his sons Jared Sweet of Kalamazoo, Matt Sweet of Three Rivers and their mother Dawn Boughton of Three Rivers, brothers John Sweet of Three Rivers and Paul Arnold of Sturgis. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Sweet and mother Sandra Sweet Arnold. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 2 -4 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 24th, with Pastor Clint Zehr officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Foundation.
