Kirk Alan Knapp, age 47 of Three Rivers, passed away  Thursday, October 27th, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Kirk was born in Three Rivers on August 1, 1964, a son of  James E. and Lettie (Schober) Knapp. He graduated from Constantine High School in 1982 and was employed Armstrong International in Three Rivers for 15 years. Kirk enjoyed fishing and taking walks. He especially cherished spending time with his granddaughters. Kirk was attending Riverside Church in Three Rivers.Surviving are his mother Lettie (Arthur) Gallegos, Littleton, CO, father James (Reba) Knapp, Port St. Lucie, FL, daughter  Tonya (Jeremy) Bacon of Constantine, granddaughter Nevaeh Bacon, step granddaughter Cora Bacon, brother Craig (Terry) Knapp of Fort Bragg, NC, girlfriend Angie Wheaton, Three Rivers, nieces Jennifer Logan, Millersburg, IN and Jessie Newman, Tazewell, VA.Relatives and friends will be received Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held at the funeral home  at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 31st,  with Pastor Jerry Solis officiating. Interment will be in the Constantine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Church.
