Kathryn M. Hill, age 87 of Syracuse, IN, formerly of Constantine, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at her daughters home. She was born in Three Rivers on March 30, 1938, a daughter of Lester and Vivian (Caseman) Leister. Kathryn graduated from Constantine High School in 1956. On March 1, 1977, Kathryn married Larry Hill in Mongo, IN.

During her earlier years she worked for Turtle Top in New Paris, IN, Bearcat Corp., Goshen, and later retired after many years from Fiedeke Vinyl Coverings, Goshen, after many years as a seamstress. Kathryn enjoyed fishing, her flower garden, and time spent with her daughters and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Larry Hill, Syracuse; daughters Robin Todd, Three Rivers, Laura Cooper, Hartsville, TN; grandchildren Jason (Crystal) Johnson, Sarah (Chris) Meyers, Cody Johnson, Nathan Cooper, Garon Cooper, Lexie Cooper, Tony Johnson, Brandy Hernandaz; 15 great grandchildren; stepchildren Larry (Theresa) Hill, Jr., David Hill, Lisa Hill and Jeff Hill;several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Sally Leister, Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Sonia Huckendubler, Tena Bender, Lester L. Leister, Dola Weldon and Donald Leister.

Relatives and friends will be received Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 3-4 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine.  Memorial services will follow at 4:00 PM. A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Constantine Cemetery.
