Katherine A. Fair, 75 of Lake Templene, passed away November 13, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Katherine was born in San Mateo, CA on May 23, 1946, a daughter of Brent and Ruth (Atkins) Rickard. She graduated from Danbury High School in Connecticut in 1964 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University in 1978.

On August 16, 1975, she married Parker Fair in Sturgis. Katherine worked for Kirsch Co. from 1967-2001 and also for the St. Joseph County Court House. She enjoyed the theatre, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Parker Fair of Sturgis; sons Ronald Wayne (Care) Cary of Coldwater and Brett Russell Cary of Coldwater; grandchildren Chad, Samantha, Danielle, Scyler, Jaydn, Katelyn, Kassandra, and Sage; great grandchildren Brysen, Wesley, Corbin, and Charlee; sister Pamela (Glenn Cooper) Rickard of RI; sister Susan (Wayne) Page of Lilly, MO; brother Stephen (Cathy Repko) Rickard of Danbury, CT; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. No public services will occur.
