June Sylvia Ledbetter, age 96 of Constantine, passed away Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at Three Rivers Health Hospital. She was born in Stoughton, WI on June 24, 1915,  a daughter of Frederick William and Clara (Johnson) Howard. June was a bookkeeper at North End Cycle Shop in Elkhart, retiring in 1981.Following her retirment she worked at the Three Rivers Commercial News. June was a life member of the Constantine American Legion  Auxillory. Surviving June are her daughters Nancy (Carl) Hawn of Constantine, Gail Connor of Carney, MI, Sandra Vezue of AZ, sons Ronald (Priscilla) Katt of Wallace, MI, Bruce Katt of MI, Mike Katt, Allen (Julie) Katt of Howe, IN, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,  two husbands Virgil Katt and Earl Ledbetter, 3 sons and 2 daughters.Friends and relatives will be received Wed. from 10-11 am at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Barry Edds of the White Pigeon Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the  Constantine Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion. Online messages may be left for the family below.
