John M. Schrock, age 77, of Constantine, MI , passed away  Monday, June 13th, 2011 at his home. He was born in White Pigeon, MI on December 24, 1933, a son of  Thomas and Ruth (Harrison) Schrock.  On October 12, 1958 he married Mary Shingledecker in Angola, IN. John worked as a Finisher and maintenance at Weyerhauser in Middlebury. Following he worked at Nickells in Constantine and at Sims Oak Hills Golf Course. He and Mary delivered papers for South Bend and Elkhart newspapers for several years..Surviving are his wife Mary Schrock sons Kirk Schrock, and Kevin Schrock all of Constantine, half Sister  Dottie, step sister Virginia Bent and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Larry Church, daughter Gayle Schrock in infancy, brother Howard Schrock and half brothers Thomas Schrock and Dennis Schrock. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 1 to 2 pm. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
