Jeanette May Trattles, age 91 of Centreville, died Sunday May 7, 2023 at her home. She was born April 4, 1932 in Jones, MI a daughter of Ned and Myra (Ferguson) Trattles.

Jeanette graduated from Centreville High School in 1950 and attended Western Michigan University. On February 23, 1956 she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. serving until February 22, 1959 earnin the rank of Corporal.

Jeanette retired from Consumers Power Co. where she served as a clerk for 36 years. She enjoyed spending winters in Apache Junction, AZ from 1987 to 2012.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews, David S. Trattles, Robert Trattles, Kimberly Garcia, Carol Williamson, Patty Glod and Ellen Barnes; and many cousins, great and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jane Barnes, brothers Roger Trattles, Jack Trattles, and Owen Ross Trattles; nephews Michael Trattles, Gary Trattles and Dick Trattles.
