Jean Jennette (Jenks) Wedge, age 86 of Centreville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Jean was born in Three Rivers on October 29, 1928, a daughter of Franklin and Ruby (Sarf) Jenks. She attended Three Rivers Schools and later completed high school at Sturgis Adult Education in 1973. On November 29, 1946 she married Gordon Wedge in Three Rivers, he preceded her in death February 18, 2010. Jean was employed at Centreville Public Schools in the lunch room from 1970 to 1989. She previously worked at Newberry's Dept Store in Three Rivers and Reens Grocery. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Linda (Charles) Erway of Battle Creek; Marci (Patrick) Atherley of Las Vegas; Judy (Larry) Grubbs of Centreville; son, Gary (Tabitha) Wedge of Three Rivers; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Eley Funeral Homes in Centreville. Religious Services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church Friday at 2:00 PM with Pastor John Sears officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
