Jean Ann (Jeannie) Bright, age 78 of Sturgis, MI passed away  Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at her home. She was born in Hillsdale, MI on August 2, 1935,  a daughter of Carl and Katherine (Mohoney) Kamhout. Jeannie graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1953. She worked at Sturgis Molded Products for many years and operated a day care for 14 years.Jeannie loved horses, country music, game shows and especially her dogs. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandkids. Her best times were spent cooking, joking and telling stories to her family.Surviving are her daughters  Tami (Jim) Miller of Macy, IN,  Barb (Brad) Kinney of Constantine, MI, sons  Kenny Rummler of Centreville, Shawn Moyer of Sturgis, brother Pat Kamhout of Illinois, and many grand children and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Carla Barrett and brother Chris Kamhout.A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday August 24, from 11 am to 12 p.m.  at Mottville Community Church with a lunch to follow.
