Jamie Ann (Kastner) Graham, age 62 of Sturgis, died Sunday, March 18th, 2012 at the Fairview Nursing Centre in Centreville. She was born in Lansing, MI on December 4, 1949, a daughter of James and Marion (Otis) Kastner. Jamie graduated from Centreville High School in 1968. She later attended Glen Oaks Community College and also Baker College in Mt. Clemens, obtaining an Associates Degree in Marketing. Jamie enjoyed bowling, crafts and reading and was also a fan of PGA Golf, the Detroit Red Wings and the Tigers.
Surviving Jamie are her daughter Tonya Hunter and fiancé Eric Martens of DeWitt, son Major Tod (Marion) Hunter serving in Heidelberg, Germany, grandsons Nico Hunter and Justin Hunter, four sisters Marsha (Dave) Davis, Centreville, Joan (Bruce) Berger, Northport, AL, Marianne Kastner, Portland, OR, Kerry (Michael) VanDort, Zeeland, MI, four brothers Mark (Gaylene) Kastner, Eaton Rapids, James (Denise) Kastner, Centreville, Keith Kastner, Mendon, Matthew Kastner, Sturgis, friend John Fautz, Mendon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, stepfather Robert Pueschel, brother Jeffrey Kastner, and brother in law Michael Luck. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Graveside Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center 200 N. Park St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Online messages may be left for the family below.
