James Edward Teall Age 76
Bristol, IN
Died January 1, 2019 at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Goshen. He was born June 25, 1942 in Elkhart a son of Kahl Edward and Esther Viola (Hisey) Teall. James graduated from Bristol High School in 1960 and received his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University in 1965.
James worked as a design engineer for Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific railroad. He later owned and operated Teall Tax service in Bristol.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Bristol, participating in the choir and serving as organist. James also served on the Bristol Park Board, Bristol Community Library Board for 12 years and 9 years as president, and a member of the Township Advisory Board.
Surviving are his brothers Charles (Judy) Teall, Middlebury, Tom (Nancy) Teall, Bristol, sister Elizabeth (Randy) Yohn, Elkhart, 8 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20943 Co. Rd. 6, Bristol, IN. Religious services will be held Saturday at 12 pm at the church with Pastor Steven Schwier officiating.
Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
